I know I'm old and foggy headed but I can't find where it states ARP fasteners in the description ?? If it's the same rods as I am sure they are due to the markings from way back when they certainly were/are ARP rod bolts.
Thanks
Randy

There is no logical reason to call an Engine a motor.

I edited out the part of the ad regarding ARP hardware when it was pointed out that the main bolts are not ARP main studs (Chris, the guy I got it from, had said the rods and mains had ARP hardware).
Sounds like we are a go for ARP rod bolts. I'm not going to add it back to this ad. I'll mention it if I end up advertising it elsewhere, but I really hope it sells here. I think I'll be over there tomorrow, though, and can put the final word on this then.
Nice engine, I am pretty sure the balance shaft hole needs to tapped and a bolt put in. 7mm iirc.
I'm sure it's already been done.
Thanks
Randy

Also the felt markings show the results of weight balancing and select fit of the pistons. Can't remember if it was decked..if the pistons stand proud then it was. As my pictures show it had no oil pan or pump at that time. If anyone has any questions I will try to answer them.
Thanks

Standard 2-month bump...somebody wants to build a new motor...is it you???
good deal!
wow if i had the dough!!! got the 5 speed goin in and would def be nice to have this engine on hand to boot!!!! im gonna try and get this bad boy!!!
Anonymous, u hit the nail on the head there!!!I can save you the troubles. They are ARP rod bolts.
Stock bolts do not have the dimples on the tops and bottoms of the bolts for a stretch gauge, as these do. Plus, ARP's have the glossy black oxide.
B-to-the-UMP!
I decided not to be greedy and sell this for more anywhere else, but I will not give it away...price remains $700 shipped (in the US), or make me an offer I can't refuse!
I know someone who may need this. Good price. Are you going to SDAC though?

Man, I hadn't even looked up the info on it this year; didn't realize it was that close to me, compared to many of the past events. Even so, no, June is just way too busy for me.
Sorry, if it had been July or August (especially as my Daytona will be done and hopefully painted by then), I would say definitely, but I just can't spare the time any time soon.
hmmmmmmmmmmm.............. might have found a car here that needs a shortblock. Wife will kill me if I drag home another broke turbo dodge
That's why you get the new engine first! Heh... Seriously, though, you can get the GA special: $625 and I'll meet you in Macon (a little more than halfway to you, I think; about 105 miles for me).
The kid was going to sell the Shadow for $300 with the knocking bottom end. Has some issue with his girlfriend about the car. Going to have to wait and see.
Had some interest, but no buyers, so once again......
SOLD!!! to user 'karlak'. Thanks, Karl, good to meet you!
Edited the thread, but wanted all previous posters to know they'd officially missed out!
