That was the plan and the guy who made the SS header prototype did an excellent job on it, but now its just too much for him to tackle in his free time. This is still an option and will need to look into it more when i have free time myself.

    Update...

The original mild steel prototype header was used on JoeDuno's 11 second minivan this year. Sorry, no B-2-B exactly as he put the intake on at the same time.

Header still doing OK. The 1/8" (in some spots) flange still holding up, but leaking when cold.

I'm personally too busy to make a batch this winter, but will try to find a shop to do it for me... stay tuned

Honestly I haven't thought about it in a year. Is there still enough interest?

Re: BadAss 2.2L/2.5L Equal Length Runner Tubular Header Group Buy

Well another year has gone by...

Updates... The original OG (non-stainless) prototype has been on JoeVanDuno's van for the past couple seasons and despite being bent (too much motor movement ) and re-welded, has held up OK! The Stainless prototype has been on Tommy's Charger and is holding up very well.

Between my lack of resources to get these made and with many other options out there now, I'm guessing interest is minimal?

I was just thinking about this today. I'm still pretty confident that this will be released for sale when I have an incredible stroke of bad luck and broke. Bring it on.

I want to see one with the ATP swing valve on it. I think that would be a pretty hot ticket.

Stuff like this gives me heartburn.

One reason I shut down Relentless Performance was vendor-supplier apathy. I was willing to pony up $10,000 of my own money to get a decent swingvalve made for the Chrysler turbine housing and could not get a company who shall remain nameless to make it.

If it makes you feel any better, I bet the guy who gave the go ahead for the project was called to the carpet unless our bolt pattern works for something else. If I'm not mistaken, there are only a handful of guys running one of these.

Actually what I had in mind could be used on more than one application, would have been a market for hundreds if not a few 1000.

They still would not do it.

It was maddening, they even had the tooling.

I feel your pain Gary. That's been one of the biggest hurdles as a T-M vendor. The only way a manufacturer would even consider making anything for you is if you commit to over 1000 pieces. Otherwise, you are paying triple the price and your product goes on the way, way back burner until all the high volume customer's projects are done. Finding the occasional supplier that is willing to work with low volume orders is our biggest challenge.
