I was wondering I have a 1990 GTC VNT Convertible and was wondering if it was to old to get a VIP report from the dealer. I was wondering if anyone knew how far back you could go and still get a VIP report? Thanks

not to sound like an idiot but what is a VIP report?
I was able to get one for my '91 R/T. It didn't give a whole lot of info; in service date, selling dealer and a page of option codes for the car. That was about it.

Dan,
I am sure that you can still get the VIP Report for you 90 GTC VNT. I'm not sure how far back they can go. PM "RICK" on here, he works at a dealer and Florida and knows all about the VIP reports.

VIP Summary Report is a report that you can obtain from your local Chrysler/Dodge Dealer at the Parts or Service counter. All you have to do is give them the Vin # and the report will give info on Selling Dealership, Owner Info (Usually Blank) and a list of EVERY Option that was originally on the vehicle.

You need vin and mileage. It depends on the car I had some that come up but don't have description of the option codes and some description are wrong. PM me the vin and milage

Thanks Ralph I was hoping they went back to at least 90. I got one on the RT, which is about as good as a build sheet. (looked but did not find a build sheet in it…yet). I found the build sheet on the white VNT but would like to see a VIP on it. Maybe I can get one on the other 2 as well. I’m kind of a paperwork geek.
1966 dart wagon….Yea what Ralph said……
Miss Dodgeshadowchick….Thanks for your offer I may take you up on it, but first I am going see if my dealer will do it for me…Lord knows after all parts I have bought through the years he should. But do you know how far back you can get VIPS??
Thanks

I ran a VIP on my dearly-missed 1988 Daytona, so they at least go back that far.
