I just got a Shelby valve cover and notice that it doesn't use the same type gasket as my '91. What gasket should I use for this VC? Any tips or tricks I should know?

There are only two kind of turbo valve cover gasket made.
One is 1 piece. 89 and newer.
One is 4 piece. 88 or older.
That's it. If your 91 gasket doesn't work, it's the other one.
Buy the end seals from Mopar. Throughly clean the head and valve cover with brake cleaner. Use a good RTV, and lay a bead on the head or valve cover, for the front and rear seals, and overlap the rubber end caps. Either install tacky or right away, follow instructions. Let it setup and your done.
