can i swap a whc1 on an 03 cummins?

i have a wh1c holset, and i want the turbo off my friends 03 dodge cummins. i think its the hy35, with the 90 degree exducer. i dont have the wastgate accuator, and he turbine outlet is 2.5". im sure i can fab something for the exhaust, and i think i can use his accuator. will this turbo work on his exhaust manifold, wh1c is a split turbine housing inlet?

They both have a standard T3 flange so it will physically bolt on. Exhaust hookup is different, but if you think you can make it work go for it.
