    runs rich start up

after the car has been sitting all night and i initially start in the morning for about 30 sec. it seems like it runs rich. you can smell the fuel then it smooths out. The car has a 255 walbro and everything else stock. any ideas ??

Does it chug and sputter then smooth out?

If yes, I would pull the fuel rail, leave the fuel lines hooked up, then energize the coil +, and watch for fuel leaking out of the injectors, if not right away, let it sit overnight and recheck. I bet you've got one or more that leaks.

The +20's with a stock cal will be worse if not running a cal for them. I've never had good luck with running those unless you run an AFPR and turn the base fuel pressure down or run a cal designed for them.

I've got +20s on now without an afpr and it runs really rich, i wouldn't suggest running them on a stock cal either.

That being said i've got an afpr that I have to put on, what should I set my base pressure for? I'm only going to be running 12psi till spring.

Aprox 20% less, so try 50psi and go for a WOT run, tune until your WOT is ok, the rest will fall into place.

Cals are not perfect so you need to play around. How are you setting the pressure?
