"......#432 is here entirely because of #053. Had I not done the work I did to #053, the owner of #432 would not have sought me out. #432 is on a whole other level. Easily the priciest GLHS out there, and there's a LOT of goodies that the public does not even know about yet. It will blow your mind when it rolls out ........."
thanks for the history on GLHS #053, i know what you mean when you refer to over-worrying about a car. I hope 053 turns up because it has a lot of interesting history thats for sure.
i am a big fan of your work on Chris's #432 and have been following it's progress for months (over year?). Spectacular work you have done there Neil. I spoke w/ Chris a couple weeks ago and he mentioned he is coming out to break-in the engine prior to your final tune. I think a lot of us are really looking forward to seeing 432 in person in 2010.
Thank you for the kind words. Car is coming out really nice. It gets an alignment on Monday morning (tells you the break-neck speed of this project), and I will put a few miles on it during the day to work out initial bugs. It will then sit until Chris gets here the following week.
*UPDATE* I found it! more to follow!!!!!
Last I knew, it was in the Springs.
really? :-)
Oh man that is good.

Sitting in a yard with 2006 plates on it.....
Ah. What kind of shape is it in?

I'm not interested in having it back, BTW
Overall really good, just filthy, the only thing I could find missing was the coil wire, we will see... could you pm me what you sold it for? I saw the for sale list and asking price
Like junkyard? Or someones yard?

In a persons yard, it has changed hands several times
Sold it for exactly my asking price, not a penny less. Buyer had agreed (in writing) to contacting me if he were to ever sell it, and to give me first right of refusal. Interesting that it has changed hands, as he was posting up on Jalopnik a few months ago, indicating that he owned it. Car was nearly perfect when I sold it.
OK, whatever. You jumped in on a comment I made, what, 4 years ago?!?
Yea maybe at the time built it was the most money ever spent on a glhs.
No offense as I'm sure it's an awesome "almost stock" restoration. Srt4 brakes and a few other goodies on there, etc...
But today unless everyone is willing to post receipts I wouldn't be so confident in your "not even close" speak.
