i think r-bryant has some forged flat tops for sale, also tII rods with arp bolts, pretty good setup, what are you going to use them for? nitrous, road racing?

I have a complete, wild, NA race motor that was just freshened and still in just a shortblock and top end apart from one another. Please PM me if you're interested. I'd love to make a deal and move this.

Yes I have a set of .20 over venolia 2.2 flat tops. They do have 8v valve reliefs in them that amount to about 2cc or so.

They can come with the arp bolted rods assembled for $300. They are also ceramic coated on the top and friction coated on the sides. Some of the friction coating has come off the skirts though due to my machinist getting the tolerances on the loose side but it won't hurt anything in a new block or in this one in a race application.

They cost me $400 for the pistons plus $100 in coatings plus the the ARP rod bolts plus the machining to resize the rods after the bolts were installed.

I would give you pictures but they are still in the block in case someone wants the whole engine before the first parts were sold out of it.

It is a great deal for what you get. If you are doing a race engine then you might just want the whole block the excessive bore clearances are great for racing just not for the streetable car I want... Although I am not sure how to ship it exactly...

turbovanman, thanks for the offer. I am looking for an h-beam or similar type rod.

I'm building a streetable NA dual side draft 2.2 for the GLH. Hoping for 200whp.

TII rods are good for ~350hp or so and I doubt you will ever break one in an NA engine.
