    3 Inch Cats

What's a good brand to buy?

I've heard that some last only a few months to a year, I'm looking for something that will last a few years, and I am willing to spend around $250 if need be to get a good quality high flow one.

    Any suggestions?

The Dyonmax Ultra converter is also a stout piece. I have had 3 of them on different cars now and they still pass emissions.

Yes, one of the best they make but they are more restrictive than the stainless mesh one I posted about. I've used both,

Crap, I didn't take one as the other thread has all the pics on Ebay.

You could see right thru it. Put it this way, open header and the Ultra cat, muffled alot of the noise, put on the MF, no noise reduction,

Heres an ebay link and pic-

    The regular cats look different.

I've hit mine with race fuel, misfires, coolant, oil, wrong cam timing so much the whole exhaust was red for hours and its still working fine. I know the Super and Ultra Walker cats are tough also.

    Re: 3 Inch Cats

I took my catco off and it was mint condition even after eating up many miles and even survived a broken piston and a few quarts of oil directly into the exhaust when that happened. Lasted 7 years and was mint. Then seen a cat with like 50 miles that was melted. Happy with what my catco did. It failed to muffle much of anything btw.
