Quick question for you guys. Is a chrysler tc intercooled motor the same as a dodge 2.2 intercooled motor. Not talking about the 16 valve motor. Just wondering if internals are the same
Yes the automatic equipped TC engine is a standard 88 or 89 TII engine, depending on what part of 1988 it was built as an 89 model year. The early cars have the non common block, and the later ones have the common block. The dipstick is the easiest way to tell, the plastic T handle shaped ones are the common block and the metal round one is the early non common block.

Don't know if any of you use the U-Pull R Parts website.............But, it changed back to the old one. I don't know about anyone else, but I thought the last site sucked. Slow and hard to use. They went back to simplicity.

Just a reminder for everyone that the St. Paul Street Machine Summer Nationals are this weekend at the St. Paul fairgrounds. I am parked very near the corner of Cooper and Randall avenues. I am driving my SFB 85 GLHT. Rain car will be the CSX-T. We have a canopy set up directly behind the cars. Hope to see some of you there. Peter with his 89 CSX is usually parked on the road directly East of the main entrance of the grandstand. It is an excellent show.

The plan is to meet at Perkins in Hudson for breakfast at 7am. Then head to the track. It would be really nice to see a good turnout that day. If you've never raced, try it. If it’s been a while, try it again. No shame given to beginners, only the experienced. Then after breakfast proceed out to Rock falls Raceway for drag racing

The MNSDAC meeting for November has been changed to a new date and location. After the fall cruise the members that were there came up with a new idea which is great!

We are planning on meeting there and having a few beers or sodas and then eating at the Beer Hall & Restaurant not the fancy place that’s upstairs. There will be significant others coming as well so if you want to bring your wife or girlfriend etc by all means.
