1989 TII Lebaron Convertible........Thanks Jim! I owe you. It's a nice car. Solid as a rock as far as I've seen. I do see evidence of repainted areas. There's just under 179,000 miles. But runs and boost great. Shifts nice. Assuming the 555 is still is sill there, but haven't checked. Carpet is nice, but I still have that -30,000 mile carpet from Ben. Thanks Ben! Console door is broken.....But I've got Bens. Thanks Ben!

Ryan, I'm on a computer. I can't copy and paste anything here. Can't use the "quotes". Otherwise, there is no problems with any other site, forum or note pad and word pad. T-M is my only problem. Now it's working fine. But that's subject to change. LOL
We had our third Coon Rapids meeting this week! Jim stopped over to see the Lebaron. He was driving his Shadow convert. The first was running in to Bradd while on the way to Menards

Yes I did. I love it! This one has a floor! A very solid floor. It's identical to yours. High miles but seems to run good. The day I bought it, (Chippewa Falls, WI) the hose/caliper locked up on the way home. I cracked the hose loose to relieve the pressure and drove over 100 miles before I ever touched the brake. I only used the brakes 4 times total from Chippewa Fall to home. All in Coon Rapids. Changed the hose the next day. Then it locked again. Changed the caliper the following day. Took it for a drive that night. The other front caliper/hose started locking up. Grrrrrrrr. Replaced those the next day. It's been good since Saturday evening. It could use some shocks/struts. I need to put in a 12 button navigator. I replaced the radio, with a late model CD/Cassette one, but there's no sound at all. I haven't dug in to that yet. The top was new 7 years ago and garaged since. It also hasn't been driven much at all in like 5 years. The top should be good for a long time. Needs tires. Too bad I just out new tires on my red Lebaron less than 1000 miles ago. 15's in stead of 16's.

On my 89 GT everything works, but it only has 70,xxx miles and always garaged. I am bringing it to Wisc this weekend. My Red one threw a rod last fall, still starts, but knocks. I am tempted to gut out the GTC and put everything in the red one, its clean. But i would have to swap everything, even the exhaust, Radiator. but worth it. Just too old to do it all so checking around for some one. At least both are 5 spds. Did i show you the diagram i made to put in a Ipod/AUX input on the Infinity Radio? My red one came with the first year CD i think, i figured it out from that. It is a slave unit, so by using the 8 pin in the back you can tap into the head unit. here is the instructions https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater BTW, the white one i got from you none of the speakers worked, they were all dead. But i had spares...lol.

That's funny you just posted that about the radio. I just put a late model CD/Cassette player in yesterday. The car I bought has NO SOUND what-so-ever. The radio I pulled out has that same 8 pin socket. I was going to ask Ben H. about it. He's also done the homework on that socket for aux input adapters. I was going to contact him today but forgot. I did notice a super faint sound coming from a rear speaker tonight. I'm assuming all the amp'd speakers are shot. I HATE THOSE Infinity speakers.

Found a black Lebaron top boot at a garage sale today. I was looking for one yesterday. (CL and Ebay) The home owner told me they had a front grill cover for a Lebaron convertible. She didn't know that that's what I was driving. It was actually a boot. Amazing what a guy can find at a garage sale. These are the things that keep me addicted to sales. LOL

On another note, I met a guy who actually knew about my car. He told me I should head to Streetz grill in Bloomington on Friday nights, apparently there is a Mopar meet there every Friday. Anyone ever go and is there any Turbo Dodge's there?

Yeah, I found it. Just follow all the "race cars" I had a lot of compliments on the GTC. Bradd, you're going to have to stop by sometime and drive the car with the top down. And without the front brake being locked up. It is a lot faster that way. LOL
