I do NOT have a portable grill, so I can't bring one. BTW I'm not seeing current posts on the other forum. Think they are having some bugs to work out after the upgrade. Last post I'm seeing was from Saturn5 last month. I know there have been posts since then.

Hey everyone, Ben H is in town and wants to meet up with everyone. He lives in Missouri now and can't make meetings as easily as he could when he was local. (South Dakota) We're getting together this evening at Willy McCoy's in Bloomington. 7PM. The traffic should have died down a bit by then. The place is located at the intersection of Old Shakopee Road and France in Bloomington. The address is 10700 France Av. So. Hope to see everyone there!

It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. Hard to believe it was so many years ago when I came to my first meeting. I wasn't sure my old wagon would make the long drive, but it did. Come to think of it, I've never had a break down with a turbo Mopar since my Laser left me stranded in Lodi California that one time.

Great seeing you too Ben. Nice little burnout with the RX7. My cars never use to strand me..when they were newer. Now because of the age, I have the best AAA plan I could get. I purchased it a couple days after my car acted funny 150 miles from home. I made it but didn't want to go a half mile out of my way for gas because of the way it was acting. (Drive axle)

Just a reminder that Street Machine Nationals are in St. Paul this weekend. I'll be parking on Cooper near Randall (should we get spots reserved) in our usual spot. Hope to see you there. I'm sure Bradd will be busy autocrossing. Peter sold his CSX, so who else is bringing something in the show?

I'm starting to see a pattern between '89 CSX's and 2007 Shelby Mustangs. Peter, Robin and Ty. Pretty sure they all got 2007's. At least they are all Shelby Mustangs. Ty still has his CSX.
My friend Lance was looking at Shelby Mustangs for sale after seeing Peter's beautiful white one. (Lance has a thing for "white" cars)

Who is planning on going to Powercruise this year at BIR? I will be there all 3 days with the R/T camping.

I will be in Brainerd for the NHRA Summer Nationals, is anyone going to that? The Powercruise sounds like a ton of fun, all the things a person isn't allowed to do on the street but we all want to do.

Not going. I used to work it with some friends of mine, but haven't done so in years. I sort of lost interest after TF went to 1000' instead of full quarter mile. I always tell people they should experience an NHRA event at least once in their lifetime. BIR is one of the best places to experience it too. Watching it on television isn't the same. Bring lots of sunscreen, bug spray, and ear protection. The mosquitos are so bad right now in the Twin Cities with all the rain, they about carry you away! I can only imagine Brainerd is bad too.

TF= Nitro Top fuel dragster and funny car. Since sometime in 2008, they have only been racing to 1000' instead of 1320'.
