You guys need to make a phone call or something and be sure they are planning on running tomorrow because of the low morning temps. Been there and done that at Rock Falls before. I was there with 100+ cars and no one from track showed up. It was a perfect day out, not a cloud in sky. WI hwy patrol showed up and told us no one was coming and to go home (quietly). I wrote a letter to track owner Al Corda at the time. He was out racing in other part of country, otherwise he would have been there.
How bout meeting at Mcdonalds in Hudson at 7AM?

Not sure if anyone needs one of these, but U-Pull in East Bethel has 2 Shadows with 523's. One has 153,XXX miles and the other is 183,XXX? (TBI cars) They only get $46.00 for trannys WITHOUT warranties. (not sure how much with) Just thought I'd pass this along. I know the south location had at least 1 a few weeks back.

Hello Everyone

Enclosed is the 2014 MNSDAC Schedule, if someone has some ideas to change/add to the events that would be great! I added a mini swap meet for the March meeting since we can park underground in a heated garage, if you have something to sell email me and give me a list of things with prices or just bring your stuff to the meeting. I would like to add a drag racing event for the year as well, maybe August? The schedules for drag racing are not out yet...

No don't think so. Just regular turbo converter that I am aware of.

Hey guys - I need a clutch for my 84 Laser turbo. It has an 84 A525 (stock), boost is turned up so I would like a good strong clutch.
Anybody have one laying around they are not going to use, or a good used one?

Sorry I have nothing for you. You are looking for a small splined clutch if going into 525. In my experience to get anything to hold with big boost, you need to have aggressive disk. Then the clutch starts feeling more like a on-off switch and loses some street driveability. If this doesn't appeal to you, just buy a hybrid disk with TIII PP and TII organic disk. Most of our vendors sell this. Forget the carbon or Kevlar disks. Haven't seen one yet live a long life. I've been happy with my Clutchnet 6 puck ceramic disk. This might be too aggressive, but he has lots of options.

Thanks for responding Todd! I am not running BIG boost so a stock replacement T2 clutch set would probably be fine. Can you tell me the difference between the T1 disc and a T2 disc? Pressure plates are the same (84-90)? I know the T3 plate has a high clamping/holding rating but its not needed for this car, probably need it for my S. Thanks
