Anyone going to the meeting this saturday??? It would be nice to get a head count, I don't really want to drive all the way out there if no one else is going.

I got a total of 5 responses when I posted on the 2 forums and the email from mnsdac@yahoo.com, sorry Todd I didn't see you email till I woke up on Saturday morning at 9:00 I slept in for once which was nice. I hope you know how I feel when I see all these other car clubs having meetings and people actually show up and everything! I understand people are busy during the summer but when I don't even get a email back saying I can't make it, it shows me that I'm just wasting my time trying to plan events and planning my schedule around meetings. I could be doing something else last weekend, if I knew that no one wanted to go except for Todd and Bob I could have been up north camping or four wheeling. I ask people for input and what we could do or where we could go and I get no feedback. I'm not going to be the President or the treasurer anymore! I'm going to plan my weekends around my life and not a car club that only a handful of people care about. WHO WANTS TO BE THE PRESIDENT AND WHO WANTS TO BE THE TREASURER? I would ask people to email me what position you want to be and if there is more than one person interested in the position then we will have a vote.

Many years ago when I bought my first turbo dodge I looked online to see if there are any clubs around, I thought it would be cool to get a Minnesota club formed so I contacted Gary and he said we could form a club, our first meeting there where over 30 people who showed up! Now I can't even get 5 people to show up. I hope the new president can get something rolling because I'm just out of ideas on how we can get people to show up or even respond!

The Exit 65 Ramps off of I-94 (Hwy 37 Exit) in both directions (EB & WB) are NOW OPEN!!


Directions To Rock Falls Raceway From the West -- Minneapolis/St. Paul:


Directions: Take I-94 East to the 2nd Eau Claire Exit (#65 - WI 37/WI 85)
Exit on to Hwy 37 South and travel approx. 3 miles until you reach Hwy 85.
Turn right on to Hwy. 85. Travel approx. 6 miles in to Caryville.
Take the first left hand turn in Caryville on to 190th Ave.
Travel approx. 1 mile and take a right on 1000th St.
Go up the hill and Rock Falls Raceway is located on your left hand side.

Directions: Take I-94 West to the 3rd Eau Claire Exit #65 (WI 37/WI 85)
Exit on to Hwy 37 South and travel approx. 3 miles until you reach Hwy 85.
Turn right on Hwy. 85. Travel approx. 6 miles to Caryille.
Take the first left hand turn in Caryville on to 190th Avenue.
Travel approx. 1 mile and take a right on 1000th Street.
Go up the hill and Rock Falls Raceway is locate on your left hand side.

Turn right on Hwy. 85. Travel approx. 6 miles to Caryille.

Fun Races

Fun Races are Open to ALL Racers (except those with electronics which includes a delay box, throttle stops or stutter boxes.)

Can't decide if you want to race for the money or for the trophy - well we're not going to make it any easier for you by giving you two separate entry fees. Its just $40 to race no matter which one you choose - its all the same price. No electronic gadgets are allowed in any class.

If you race for money the payout is $250 to Win, $100 to Runner-Up and $50 to Semi-Finalist(s) in our Pro ET Eliminator category. If the 1st round entries exceed 65 or more payout increases to $400/Win, $175/RU and $75/Semis. If you decide to race for a trophy in either Street Eliminator or King of the Hill, just win 2 rounds and win a trophy. Finally, for the not so lucky racers who lose either 1st or 2nd round of either trophy class or the money class we give you another chance to win some cash and the entry is Free!! Our Consolation Race pays $100 to Win and $50 to the Runner Up.


So... whether you race for money or for trophies, come on out to the Rock and have some fun at one of our Rock Falls Raceway Fun Races.

IMPORTANT TECH UPDATE: The Snell 2000 Helmets EXPIRED on 12/31/11. Please check your helmet and if you have a Snell 2000 you will need to replace it prior to racing at any NHRA sanctioned racetrack beginning 1/1/2012. Also as a reminder, the Snell K98 and Snell 95 helmets are expired and no exceptions will be made for use of these models of helmet if you are running 13.99 and quicker in the 1/4 mile or 8.59 in the 1/8th mile. Currently, acceptable helmets are the Snell 2005 and Snell 2010. Please also remind your fellow racers to check their helmets as well!! Thanks.

Is tha plan to do the fall cruise on a Saturday or a Sunday? I would prefer the Sunday beacause I will not be able to come if it is on Sunday.

Do we have a planned route? I spent some time last year developing a road map that should be a lot of fun with tons of curves and plenty of open quiet roads to open up our turbo cars. I can post that route based off the address we are meeting at. It may be a long day of driving, but it should be a lot of fun and good end to the car driving season.

It's Sunday, October the 19th. As for a route, I have something that we did last year. It needs to be longer. Bradd, send me a map and maybe we can do that or combine the two routes. I don't know if I can make it myself.

My Fav drive is the turn off to Farmington from 52. go left towards Wabasha on 60 and it is like driving in the mountains. I go a lot on Facebook these days it seems to be more activity there. If you can get some details down I can put it out more through groups. be fun to bring the Sebring guys in. they are a lot like this group just a few people active. Let me know where we are going to meet I would like to bring the Lebaron out!

Hey Steve,
There are several variations of this hose. The BOV nipple location and diameter changed around a bit over the years. I have several of them, but not sure of their original applications. If you can shoot me a pic of your old one to my email addy (or here) I will look at mine and see if I have any that match.

Not sure who is going to be around this sunday for the cruise but I won't be able to go. I'm finally walking around on my foot pretty good so I've been working on building my shed this week and this weekend I'm putting it together which will probably take the whole weekend so I won't be out having any fun this weekend but it has to get done before winter.

I was watching the weather last night and they said that the river valley is at 50% right now, not sure what it would be like on the 25th or 26th but I would be up on going that weekend if anyone wants to go?

I took 2 of my last 3 vac days this weekend for this. Next weekend s not an option for me.

Convertible Day II.

We had 5 cars on our cruise. I had my GTC there. Just camera shy. The weather wasn't bad for Oct. 19th. Colors were great! Me and Gary drove with our tops down. (my heat was on) Gary's son Cole ? drove Gary's Lebaron convertible. He was smarter than us. He kept the top up. Jason and Justin were driving their 2.4 race cars...
