Was pulling the linkage of one of my 525 trannys and noticed that on one of the infamous couplers, there was a were clip that I had never seen before. It went over the rubber cup part and clipped on to the bracket itself. Anyone seen this before?

Yeah, I've put those on both my L-bodies. They help keep those rod ends on since they can pop off once they start to wear a bit.

Those were the fix for them popping off from dodge.
