L-body dash

Has anyone replaced an L-body dash with something else? I have 1 sc sitting here with no dash and I was thinking of using as a test mule. I was thinking an srt-4 or PT dash or ??? Any one know the interior dimensions or where to get specs to compare? I know it will be a pita, but what the heck, it could be fun. I've found dash boards relatively cheap(just the bare frames), and I don't mind spending a little to test it out, but I don't want to waste cash on anything that has no chance of fitting...Thanx!

Make a custom aluminum dash like they have in Nascar

I'm looking for more of a updating to the 2000's look then a race look. Sort of like what would the sc look like if Dodge built it in 2005.

I think as long as you can get the width correct, you could do it. The other challenge is going to be mounting it to the firewall. I'm sure it can be done, but not sure how much it's worth to do it.
