    Help!! Car Wont start

I'm finishing up converting my 94' sundance to a 2.5 turbo with 90/91 turbo auto electronics. The car is timed, its getting spark and fuel, and it cranks, but will not start. I don't know where to start, i've looked over all of my grounds and they seem to be good. Theres no codes either. Where should I start looking now, its getting to be really frustrating. Any input would be great. Thanks

actually I'm getting code 37, would that cause the car not to start?

code 37 says: Baro read solenoid--solenoid not turning on and off properly

sounds like it could be the problem...

and here is a site with all the codes if you need to check others anytime

Try hooking your MAP sensor up to a direct engine vacuum source and (bypass the solenoid) see if it at least try's to start.

ok, I got it running, the injector harness was bad, but now I have a miss, im getting codes 21,27,37 now. I'm not sure how to narrow it down, im getting signal to all of the injectors with a noid light. Could it be possible im not getting the full voltage to the injector which is causing it not to fire? I've also narrowed it down to the #3 cylinder/injector.

Either a bad connection-most likely, or a bad injector. Get it warmed up a bit and check the resistance to say #2 and compare.

I pulled the fuel rail out last night and cranked and they are all spraying equally, I replaced the baro, and that fixed that code, but now i'm getting code 21. it is still running extremely rich and still has a miss. Could the miss and the extreme amount of fuel be related?

Rich can cause it to rich misfire and that would set code 21. I would do a compression test, verify fuel pressure and double check your firing order. If everything checks out, unplug the ox sensor and see what happens.

    Re: Help!! Car Wont start

Well I ran a compression test today and #3 is way low, so I ran a leakdown test and it seems I have a burnt exhaust valve. I hope that is it, not a piston. I think it was caused by the f@cked up injector harness. Oh well looks like i'll be putting my +1mm head from tvanlant on now.

    Re: Help!! Car Wont start

Glad you found it. Most likely you have TBI valves in the head, which are weaker and melted with the added heat.

If you did a leakdown, then you know what went wrong, its not hard to figure out,
