    96 neon confusion

So I have replaced the fuel pump on my friend's neon. He replaced the pump relay and the fuse. I can't hear the pump prime when the key is turned and there is still no fuel pressure. I am probably going to remove the pump assembly again and make sure I did everything right. But, does any one have any other ideas.

I think I may have figured it out. I have to take it apart again though. UGH.

first things first. jump across the asd or fuel pump relay (whichever applies) and see if you can hear the pump run. IF you can't, check power and ground at the fuel pump connector. If its there, you got pump problems.

Did you get the whole assembly or just the pump? Last one I did, I just replaced the pump and didn't center the pump inside the housing properly, its REALLY hard to do and had no pressure, took it apart and got it lined up, pressure,

I did just the pump. Turn out I was stupid and forgot to reconnect the electrical connections.
