Valve guides in a swirl head.

Are the guides supposed to be easy to remove? I can take a 20oz ball peen hammer and get them to move. I don't mean swinging as hard as I can, either. Never had them out of a 872 head before, so I figured I would ask and see if its normal or not. Thanks.

Thanks a bunch Butch. I was beginning to see larger and larger $$$$ signs when they came out. I did notice the Exhaust had the circlips on them.
