Just bought this today... 86' Daytona Turbo, 2.2 T1, auto trans, 104k miles, super clean, rust free !!
Don't know how I missed this thread.
Here's my 1988 Shelby Z
Wow. Nice pics guys. Thanks for sharing.
Hey everyone, been a while since I've been on here due to life being so unpredictable. After losing several close family members, my wife leaving me and losing my job of 10 years, working on my car is the only thing that has kept me sane! This is pretty much as the car sits right now, only difference is the addition of a new Optima red top.
I do hace a DC over the top intercooler setup that I pulled out of my Omni (RIP) that will eventually be going into the car as well. Damn thing runs so strong at 125,000 miles and the original motor/turbo, I don't want to touch it until I have to!
^ Wow! That is one of the sexiest 1st gen daytona's I've ever seen! That's not the stock color red is it?
Very nice. Good to see some more 1st gens showing up. What size rims are those?
Hoping to finish and engine bay clean up this winter and a brake and k-frame swap.
Thanks! It is the stock PR3 flash red paint, repainted about 4 years ago.
And banger68, those are 17" Motegi FF7's I grabbed for an steal. Not my 1st choice in rims, but the price was right ($100 for rims and tires).
Great to see all these beautiful G-bodies, makes me want to work on mine even more!!!!
