    Ratchet shifters?

I hate the column shifter on my 1985 D100 pickup, and want to put in a floor shifter. Any suggestions on maybe a ratchet style shifter?

I had a B&M Quicksilver in my first muscle car, it wasn't oo bad. Thats my only experience with street shifters. I put a Turbo Action shifter in it once I started bracket racing it, but for what you need/want its probably not the best choice.

' B&m Z-gate 'a Very Good Low Buck Shifter, You Can Feel All The Detents,
    Not Slopy Like A Slam,bang Rachet,reverse Lockout
And Has A Little Taller Profile,so You Wouldn't Be Bending Over All

Turbo Action Cheetah Shifter is the best there is IMO. Not a ratchet, though.

I've got a B&M Megashifter in my drag car. Works great.
