    Question Koni settings question!

I have the car Koni struts in the van with HD van springs, 1.5 coils cut off, Shelby Z 1 1/4 sway bar and poly everything. I put the adjustment at full soft so to speak and it rides very firm, I haven't tried to make them harder as the left adjuster is hard to get it. I don't mind the ride at all, its quite nice, especially after driving a stock Minivan today,

So with lighter cars, what do you have yours set too?

Konis are stiff especially in cold weather. If it feels like you have enough damping you should be fine. I usually adjust the rears a bit stiffer to try to counter understeer. If your ride is harsh and bouncy you might be smoother with them turned up a bit. The set on my GLHS is the third set of Konis I've had and they all get rock hard in cold temps .

I always set the rears to as stiff as I can get them and still have them rebound at the same speed. Then I adjust understeer or oversteer in or out with the front settings.

I went thru some twisty's aprox 10-15 kmh faster without even blinking,

    Maybe I'll try more, lol.

The 'firm ride' is more from the 1.5 coils missing... but ride is usually sacrificed when handling is improved in this way
