How can I get these out without resorting to a cut-off wheel or sawzall? Is there some trick I don't know? I know that it's very difficult to get a ratchet in there with a socket or a wrench. I need to get these changed asap.

I used a deep socket to turn the nut and a regular socket with the shortest extension to hold the head of the bolt, as using a deep socket to access the bolt head and the thickness of the ratchet handle would have been too much. 3/8 drive
use anti-seize and a new bolt

On Blakemore's shadow I was using an impact and a socket wrench, but I had to resort to the cutoff wheel. What you don't want to do is exactly what I was going to recommend.
Spray the piss out of the upper area and let it soak in for a few days. If that doesn't work, you'll need to try torches and barring that, cut off wheel, sawzall etc,

I took mine to a big box store that installs shocks and had their shocks installed. It was well worth my time.

If the nut or bolt head are not stripped start spraying them with PB blaster everday for a week before the planned removal day and then on that day heat the piss out of them. Then put your sockets on each side strip one of the heads and go get the angle grinder and have at it. Just have some under coat paint to spray on the areas where you slipped.
that seems to be how it has gone every time for me.

Did I mention I hate those bolts almost as much as the spring bolts on the exhaust.

Those bolts are the worst. The spring bolts are easy, once you actually get the thread in the whole.

The spring bolts are fine once they have been off once but the 100,000 mile car that has never had them removed. That is when they suck.

I still think they're pretty easy:
Easy removal process:
Turn on air compressor.
Grab air ratchet.
Put on about 2 feet worth of extensions
Jack up car
Put 13mm socket on 2 feet of extensions on air ratchet and slide yourself to the back of the k frame.
snake extensions (and socket) over k frame and spin off spring bolts.
Clean up and never seize for easy reinstallation.
The above process works great with a normal ratchet as well, just takes more 'elbow grease'.
