it runs!! now i need to fix more...

so, new fuel pump and the battery borrowed from my truck the 'baron runs and moves, took it for a drive today(plates borrowed fromt he blazer too--sneaky sneaky--) and its got a few issues, i need a new j-bolt for the pass side top latch, as i broke mine-doh!~-, when i turn left i head a rubbing/scrubbing noise and feel it slightly in the steering wheel, but see no signs of anything rubbing, wheel bearing mabye?, pulled out all the dead mice and nests from the hvac but it still stinks, duno what to do on that one, lots of stinky pine tree fresheners mabye? going to wire up the stereo system this week, along with a manual fan override to keep it on whenever i want, desperatly need to rig up a manual boost control, its a slug up to about 7mph then the turbo spools up and it snaps quite nicely, im impressed with the power of the turbo, i drove a shadow with a n/a 2.2 in it before and it was a slug, the turbo 2.2 actually impressed me, once i give it a good tune up, boost control, and a muffler that dosnt sound like a subaru wrx on crack, im hoping for a really nice car...throw suggestions at me, mostly on the rubbing noise, as i plan on driving this everyday and i dont need it falling apart on me!!

You can get a disinfectant that you spray in the air intake for the HVAC system. The stuff I have used is called Frigi-fresh. Works pretty good.

Sounds like a whl. bearing or C/V joint to me. Jack the car up + check for any play at the top of the whl.

Not sure what your figuring, but the 1/2 shaft has to come out of the brg in order to do the brg. One good tug on the shaft once it is out of the brg and it's in your hand. The w/brg is a bit more PITA to change once you have the shaft out.

Now if the engine is shifted too far to the pass side on the adjustable mount, combined with soft or worn mounts, you can run into CV binding on a turn which will cause the noise and a bump felt in the steering.
