Bump. I take it these are hard to find seeing as they were only available in the 92?

Yup,took me forever to get the ones I have. There was maybe 300 of them ever produced. One of my 91s the first owner got one over the parts counter as soon as he saw them availible for the 92 model year. Good luck.....

I don't know how much more abuse this current speedo can take getting buried all the time.

same here, been looking for 3 1/2 years now when i had my 1st r/t.
my stock one stripped out the $25 nylon gear in the back and the odometer doesnt work now.

my proposed solution is to build my own custom cluster. consisting of all autometer gauges, 160mph speedo, digital tach/shift light, water, oil, volts, fuel level and pressure, boost and a zeitronix for a/f, egt and an additional boost/tach display.
a little pricey, but it will look like a damn space ship when its done.

i have a buddy in warren, mi. that does all the install for macomb county narc/sting cars and has to hide all type of video, audio and tracking equipment. i am thinking of having him make me a removeable laptop stand like the coppers have for the wideband in the r/t.

they are out there. I picked up 2 a while back for less than $100. obvioulsy the seller had no idea what they had.

Actually,you could get them over the parts counter back in the day. One of my Spirits had a dealer reciept for one in late 92. So there were more than the number of production 92s but who knows how many......

5268299 is the P/N for the actual 150 mph speedometer gauge

I found an okay solution. Not the best....but it's closer to where the top speed needs to be.

Yeah, I'd still like to find one. I've contemplated doing a full on custom cluster like Matt Leischer (sp) did on his R/T.

Yes, mine boasts FRONT DRIVE. Thanks for sharing what you put in yours lol.

You guys sure this speedo is still not available from Chrysler?
The link in this Mopar parts dealer I use still shows it.
Not cheap but any parts showing up on this site means they are still available.

just because they list doesn't mean its available.

I've tried several different times to order the cluster and no dealer or warehouse has any. Unless this place is sitting on a stock pile I doubt they have them either.
