    91-93 would be SBEC

88-89 would be SMEC and if you want a smec computer and harness I have one out of an 89' spirit/acclaim 2.5 turbo, pm me if interested.

what year/make car do you have that you are planning on converting? You would also probably be better off getting the turbo harness that is the same make as your car

my car is a 92 dodge daytona TBI that i am looking to put a turbosunleashed turbo engine in and as you might know, the 92 turbo harnesses are impossible to find so a hopefully a 91 or 93 will work, possibly a 90 but i have gotten so many different answers that i am completely confused.

Re: SMEC wiring harness and ECU

if you can get a sbec from FWd and pay the core your harness will work. the only wiring you will need to do is adding the stuff to the exsisting harness for the engine controls. the plugs are the same the wiring is either there of the cavitiesd are emptry and you would need to add the wires. i believe you will find that almost all the wires are there except on the fuel injection side and that is a seperate harness that goes from the main harness toi the inector rail.
