    Re: 2.5 CB short block

I'm near detroit, but I have one with only 12,000 original miles ready to bolt in, its all standard and needs nothing. It ran great, no smoke, no engine noise. big psi bought the head off it and will tell you its condition. I sold the head because I was going to put my big valve g head on it. I got carried away with mods and I need forged pistons. It makes no sense to me to rebuild this engine its like new and just broken in. its not rebuilt only 12,000 original miles. its been stored indoors since the lebaron was totaled in 1990. it was oiled up and turned every few months. no rust inside it, never taken apart, ready to go. I put it in my van last year with a super 60, and ffv injectors stock intercooler, and custom cal. I never drove it but heard it run myself. Its a good motor and in my opinion better than a rebuild or replacement engine. I'm asking 500 or best offer. its a bit of a drive but worth it.

I saw this in the For Sale section. Seems like a great deal, but just interested in a bare block right now.

Are you looking for it to remain a std bore? I'm about to pull an 89 2.5 TI from my car. The reason I ask about the bore is the motor currently doesn't turn over. Ran when I parked it but I believe the head checked thus the rings may have rusted to the cylinder walls.

    Re: 2.5 CB short block

I assume any N/A or turbo CB block out there in DE is rare as hen's teeth?

ANY CB can be made a 2.5 turbo block once you drill a hole in the back of the block(5 min job), but I'm sure you knew that already...

    Found one. Thanks everyone.
Nate: Actually hens teeth in Delaware are quite common as the Blue Hen is the state bird, but apparently the 2.5 isn't as common in local jy.
