    WTB: Radio for 92 GTC

Looking for a radio for my 92 GTC. I don't have the Infinity system, just normal speakers. Would consider anything (that works) depending on price from just an AM/FM radio on up. I don't have much use for cassettes though. But I still have some 8 tracks!

I have an Infinity cassette radio out of a New Yorker. Worked when pulled, Can double check to make sure.

$10 plus shipping if you want it.

I really don't know enough about these TMs. Will this out of a New Yorker fit? Same wiring harness, same mounting points, etc. It's a drop in replacement? Is it black? Being an Infinity, does it have amps in it or it is only a head unit and I need Infinity amps (I don't have an Infinity system). I know Bose units for GM were just a head unit and had external amps, I know nothing about the Mopar Infinity system so sorry for all the questions.

The radios are the same, mounting point wise, from late 70's all the way up thru late 90's. I know my parents 98 Intrepid is different as it has rounded corners where the older style has square corners.
The only difference in these is the late 70's and early 80's have different plugs.

Your car should have a grey and black plug, an antenna wire slot and a ground post. That is all you need.
The amps on the Infinity are on the speakers. You can put an Infinity radio in a non Infinity system and be fine.

The Infinity was Chryslers top of the line stereo in its day.
