IMO the best way to go is a factory radiator IC combination with the IC removed.

ETA: The best place to find one is on the for sale section of the board here, or your local JY.

I used an Omni radiator in my old Daytona, worked great.

    Re: radiator with intercooler

I went with one of these:
    http://webbase.transpro.com/catalog.php?partnum=433867
It's a stock replacement for an '87 Shelby Charger and costs $165 from Advance w/ a lifetime warranty.

That radiator gave me enough room to mount the stock IC in the stock location on a Spirit R/T. Since one of the radiators listed for a Spirit is the same part# as the one for your Lebaron, it should leave you plenty of room to run pipes to a FMIC. It will take a little fabrication to make it fit, but nothing too serious.

^^That is exactly what I used. In the Daytona I had an NPR intercooler that fit perfectly around it with a 2.5" pipe on each side. Never had any cooling issues with it at all.

Nice! I've had no problems with this one either.

It might be worth mention that some N/A Omnis came with a smaller 2 pass radiator. No go. I tried one of those in a Daytona awhile back and it cooled fine at idle and part throttle but would get hot under a load (in boost). So, if a person were to look for one at a yard, the little 2 pass unit would be one to avoid.

    Tony

Edit: To save confusion, this is the one to avoid:
    http://webbase.transpro.com/catalog.php?partnum=433882
It's easy to identify because both the inlet and outlet are on the same side and the tank on that side necks down in the middle forcing the coolant to make 2 passes. This one looks a little different than the one I tried, but it's close enough to illustrate the difference between the one that works and the one that does not.

The rail was cleaned up and painted, and the reg replaced shortly after that pic was taken. The sad part is, the floorboards are in worse shape than that rail. It spent some time winter driven in OH.
John owns it now (I traded him for the V8 S10) but I have a feeling I'll be helping with the rust repair on it as soon as we get my white Spirit done.
