    balance shafts removed??

how can i tell if the balance shafts were removed on the van?? i dont really know anything about them just read about guys do it to gain a few HP and it wouldnt surprise me if they been removed. it has a lil bit of a noticeable vibration at idle, about the same you could expect to see with a solid or firm motor mount, but i have the stock mounts, just curious cause im wandering if the previous owner removed them

is the pan flat or does it have a bump in the middle, if its flat its a 2.5 pan, it could have bs, if it has a bump its a 2.2 pan so the shafts are gone, pull the pan if its flat to verify.
