I figured I'd toss this on here too, just incase anyone wants to give a Neon a try.
I'm basically going to copy what owner #3 wrote about the car with a little more info that I found out.
I spoke to owner #2 that said he got it from the original owner in California. CLEAN no rust California body. That is not so easy to find here in the midwest.
The front and passenger side has been re-painted. Pass fender is a Mopar fender.
The car is red with silver R/T stripes. Dark gray interior with the 'red squiggle' seats.
Manual windows, locks, mirrors. No sunroof. It's as light as an R/T gets.
I bought the car to save it from becoming a dealer 'trade in'. PO had a Cavalier DD that he just wrecked and was getting a WRX.
The Neon was going to be a trade in for the down payment on the WRX.
The only change is that my wife really liked the SRT4 wheels, so they are on her Neon R/T now.

PO thought the turbo was bad.
Turbo noise: gone! It was the exhaust manifold gasket that was leaking and causing the "turbo" to make a weird noise in boost. I tightened up the bolts and all is quiet. Because it was leaking, I imagine sometime down the road it may be a good idea to replace the gasket. ...much easier than on a 2.2
it comes with two tubs of parts and goodies
right now its set up for 4psi.

Code for the EGR, we knew about that. No EGR on the 2.4
Code for the Fuel pump relay. I guess something was bypassed for the Walboro fuel pump. maybe a resistor is in order?
MAP out of range. I guess the "map clamp" needs some fine tuning.
