    Impressive tranny

Just slapped in my new tranny (413) yesterday from OhioRob. Very, very impressed!

Started on it at 9:15 and finished it at 3... took multiple breaks. Normally takes 4 hours. Anyways, fired it up, topped off the fluid, took it for a drive... blew an intercooler hose. Damn! Take it back, reclamp the hose, reconnect the BOV line (it blew off, boost was at 13psi while spiking to 15psi) amd go again... spikes to 18psi cuts out at 16psi then blew ANOTHER hose. TAKE IT BACK! Turn the boost down, crank all the clamps down drive again.... this time, oh yes sir it was great. Torque stear all in 1st gear, blow away 2nd gear (whole body shakes), hook up and haul ---, nail 3rd (entire body shakes again) and still haulin' balls! WOW! Amazing how fast it was!!!

The tranny has 5 clutches, 5 pinion planetary gears, brand new torque converter , 125psi of line pressure, and a reverse manual valve body.

Takes some getting used to with this RMVB, I accidentally shifted into 1st when going to 3rd... good thing the tranny is smart and didnt let me.

$200. Plus a bunch of work that I will owe him some physical labor in.

What was the $200 for? Not counting the extra "physical" labor you still owe. Just the rmvb?

Well it was basically $200 for the entire tranny plus work. I know how to swap trannies, so Rob and I just jammed on it real quick and got it done real fast. No need to charger lots of labor as he didn't have to tell me how to do anything.
