Alright well my rear main seal didnt like 20psi of boost on the stock garret and it blew out at the track about a month ago, finally i have some time to replace the seal this weekend, bummer since i wont be making it to the lincoln NE mopar meet but i have to get this done. Ok so pull trans, im going to install a new input shaft seal, i noticed at times my trans/to bearing makes a slight grumble noise, like it did before i did the clutch swap, should i replace that, its a TU to bearing and has very low miles on it. Im also going to remove my BS and install a 2.2 pan and pickup too, so for the list:
timken rear main seal
Felpro oil pan gasket
Timken input shaft seal
mopar Anaerobic sealer (or similar)
7mm tap for bs oil hole and a plug
Thats about the only thing else i can think of any thoughts?
also noticed this in another discussion thread i have the same problem also, but the oil is coming off of the inspection cover so i'll check that out too
also at the time it blew, my pcv system was hooked up with a catch can (homemade air compressor style) im not sure if it was venting enough so now im running it "gus" style hose down to ground with some steel wool in the line
