Here are some pics of some of the parts...

    MSD Electronics:

    Assembled shortblock

O-ringed, 13.9:1 compression Mahle slugs (with small chamber cylinder head)

    DC Race Block baby!

    Spare 11:1 compression Mahle's

    Adapter for individual carb's

    Fast By Gast individual carb's

    More pics of teh carb's

Remember the engine makes 235 CHP back on the old MP intake and sidedrafts, no the FBG carbs.

    Anyone, bueler?

The Direct Connection block was an early race block, still has the fuel pump mount on the front, takes the early cranks, but is mega stout. Tons of wall thickness. They used to run up to a 3.55" bore on them.

They also have beefy main webbing, as well as beefy caps stock. As told to me their purpose was to be able to endure the stresses of the IMSA series, as well as for the roundy-round racers.

Mario- I'm trying to keep it as a package for someone since it's such a unique piece. Did you see the crank trigger on it too?

Get yourself an old issue of the Hot Rod 2.2 tech magazine from '86. They show a furnace brazed block that had the bores opened up substantially more!

Is this a monthly magazine issue? Or one of the special editions? I think I need that one...
