Cory aka Bansheenut brought this up so I'd thought it would be interesting to see who has the fastest.
Not gutted, no a/c is fine, full interior, slicks, all seasons-doesn't matter, trans too.
Wallace's R/T has run low 11's at 120 mph.

I made a real effort to get into the 11's with my old R/T but got sick of constantly breaking driveline parts. It's best pass was 12.07 @ 118.5. Full weight, AC and all. Larry Jolliffe also did low 12's in his (prior to going with the Precision turbo and alky). I think he did a 12.1 or 12.2 at 117 ish.
Nice times guys!
I'm way slow (and now broken) but damn near stock, I've gone 13.34 @ 102. (mods being 2.5" catless exhaust, computer set up with +20%s, and dual core front mount intercooler running all the boost the stock turbo will make.)

I hurt the transmission. When I was making my last test pass at the Mopar Nats Sunday before eliminations, I launched and everything was cool until I went to shift to third. All I got was grinding. I lifted and coasted through. I was able to get it into 3rd on the return road. When I got back to the pits, I checked the shift cables and we adjusted the linkage (unfortunately, there's only adjustment for left to right, not front to back which is what was feeling weird after that) but it didn't fix it. Now it has a bad whine and a strange "rubber rubbing" sound and even once in a while, there is come serious clunking and binding. I limped it on the trailer and then into the garage. It looks like I'll have to pull it and find out what went wrong. Maybe a shift fork or something. It's the first time I've actually had something break at the track.

john am i faster than you too?
1st time out, my best was 14.2@101, went back out for 3 more passes with a new pass side mount and got a 13.9@105 both on street tires.
Definitely more mph as I'm only at 102. Looks like I'll getting a little more advantage at the tree with my best being a 13.77 on the treaded tires. Unfortunatly, I can't consistantly cut 2.1 short times so I vary from 13.7 to 14.1 depending on traction.

maybe these taller tires aid in the mph increase?
on my 13.9 pass i think my 60' was 2.2 and it was at lapeer which felt better than the milan track at sdac. i am not consistent with my reaction time or 60', my worst pass the first time out was a 14.9
i still have the stock ic and you have that dual core, do you have a 2.5" or 3" exhaust? and if i remember right you are running a few psi more than me, i know your car is faster than mine.
The only "official" time I have gotten is a 14.2@96. It was on the built motor/head and s70. But, it was hitting overboost badly after 2nd gear. So I coasted the last 150ft of the track or so. It ran a 14.7 on 8 psi too. lol Away from the track, and once I solved the overboost problem is was a good low 13 based on the cars I was beating. Most of them had 13.5 or lower slips, trapping in the 107-109 range.
this is kinda like the fastest iroc thread.
anybody know larrys best time, i know he did get it to the track at the 375whp range.
Josh, are you having to shift to 4th?
Yes, I do have Warren Hall's old dual core intercooler made from two Turbo II stockers mounted behind the grille. I have a 2.5" exhaust with no cat and a quiet stock sounding muffler. (It was on the car when I bought it.) I am running the car with the turbo making all the boost that it can, definitely not efficient at that level which is around 20psi on my gauge. (lots of hot air!) With the turbo over-spinning like this, it runs much quicker when I short shift at 6000rpm. I too shift to 4th gear.
