    Anyone Using an Electric W/P?

    Just saw this one. Its for non common blocks apparantly. Go under Chrysler and to the right number 922.

    It should work for a common block. Un less the pump housings are different.

    I would really only recommend it for race cars or street/strip cars that see very limited local street duty.

    The advantage is somewhat reduced engine drag. Bigger benefit for racers is the ablity to circulate water with out the engine running to cool down quikcly between rounds, in conjunction with an electric fan of course.

    I get ya, I was just thinkin why would I want one of these on my car. Just more stuf to lag my electrical system, but that makes sense

    Like Mike said the biggest advantage is being able to get the car cooled down between rounds. Especially towards the final rounds. I don't believe its "as" important for a fuelie car as a crb'd car though, but it will help. Another potential benefit would be a constant, steady flow whether sitting still or under higher rpm load.

    Sean, Brent runs one here locally! He's got it installed on a CB too. I'm sure you can ask him anything you want to know about it. He's driven the car on the street a few times. Nothing long, but he's done it. So far no issues.

    Oh yeah, sweet. I was actually looking at them for my Dakota when I saw the one for our cars.
