Probably got too hot, you should use silicone hose. Napa sells silicone heater hose or get one from

Use silicone hose ONLY. Do NOT use rubber hose!

Oil eats the rubber in the heater hose, so as tryingbe stated, you must use silicone. Heater hose should last a few days though...

Heater hose actually last longer than a lot of you think.

    Re: turbo drain back tube

It's not really the outside that is an immediate concern with heater hose. A heater hose is made up of 2 or more hoses seperated by nylon. The nylon shrinks when exposed to extreme heat constricting the inner hose without affecting the appearance of the outer hose. The gravity fed oil trying to return to the pan backs up and eventually causes enough pressure to push oil past the seals. Heater hose can last longer in normal applications since coolant is flowing though it to draw the heat away, but, there is not enough fluid to prevent this in an oil drainback situation.

What I was trying to say was, in a pinch, you can use the heater hose until you get a silicon one. I got one from TU a couple months ago, they rule!
