What should I be able to run 1/4 mile?

I'm looking for an estimate quarter mile time for when I finish intercooling my car. I'm not really sure but im hoping for 14's. is it possible with my set up?
    Specs:
    4 door 87' lebaron auto

2.2 turbo, stock t-II intercooler, stock garrett, 20 psi boost, +20% injectors, walbro 255 pump, slightly ported 1-pc intake,+1mm valve/ported 782 head, slightly ported exhaust manifold, 2.5in swing valve, open 2.5inch downpipe, turbonator calibration.

    Thanks.

If you can get traction, you should be in the mid to low 14's.

at 20psi I'd think more like 13's, no?

I'd say so. I ran 14.3@101mph in my Shelby Z at 20 psi. Would have been easy 13's with some traction, or at least an auto to help with the launches!

This was on a completely stock TII engine (with lots of miles and leaky valves), +40's, big NPR cooler up front and 3" exhaust.

Silent Jim, You will run a 13.5 in your lifetime. Good Luck! Is that how much boost you are/were running on the way back from SDAC?

I will bet that you will have issues with traction but I will loan you my tires at an event we are all at so that you can get a good launch and I hope to see high 13s from it,and brummy when you get the launch down with your SRT I will do the same for you.

    No, only 15 psi on a log t-1 with a g-head

Re: What should I be able to run 1/4 mile?

I bet your K car was faster than my 84 Turbo Z when you (if you) had your boost set at stock levels. hmmmmm... weight of my Daytona (guessing 2800 pounds) vs/ K car (guessing 2600 pounds)____________________________ You win!

Just for your reference.... the performance LM for my 84 Turbo Z raised the boost 3 psi (from 7 to 10) and it was said to have increased the number of ponies from 142 to 157. Although, that was not just boost (LM was set to feed more fuel at higher boost) So I wonder what putting your settup to 20 lbs and doing your calibration thing will result in.

DUDE, If you want to do the Dyno up at South Park that was mentioned a while back, it sounded like that would be the ideal settup for you to play with boost/fuel mixtures Especially for the price, their flexibility, and the aesthetically pleasing website. I'd be interested in going with you if you do. I'd like to try to help! Can't guarantee that I'm technically proficient at much of anything electronic, but I know how to read a dawes light.

You might want to ask Chris from TurbosUnleashed, Cindy, or someone specifically if they have any ideas about your ET or est. HP.

Considering I'm still running a log intake in my '86 Lebaron 2dr with a probe intercooler, and I've gone 14.44, 14.43, and 14.39, I'd say you are a shoe in for low 14's at least.

I was at 16psi of boost. I've got some video of the runs in the street & strip section. Look in the "Fun at PIR" post to see them.

I think a T2 setup with +20s at 18-20 psi wil go low 13's with a good launch. You'll need slicks to do it though.

Re: What should I be able to run 1/4 mile?

i snuck into the 13's with street tires, but they are 225/60/15's and i have 16v's but i am only running 15psi and my car is probably heavier than yours, so with 20psi and a good launch i think you have a chance to sneek into the 13's although you might need taller street tires, DR or slicks to do it consistently.
also keep in mind that t2 ic is maxing out at around 18psi, i feel mine getting heat soaked at 15psi.
