    New 85 Omni GLH owner

I am the newest one here Well i just bought my '85 Omni GLH afew days ago. Looks to be pretty stock, Other than there is a DevilsOwn alcohol injection kit hooked up. Guy told me just to keep it filled up with washer fluid and i am good. Should i keep this on the car?

If the car is not intercooled, you must have that alcohol kit if you're planning to run anything above stock boost levels. Where in florida are you? Oh, and welcome to the forum.

You can run above stock boost levels in a log TI without alcohol or an IC. They run 7PSI stock. You should be able to run 10-12PSI safely.

You absolutely can, I've done it myself for a long time with no ill effect, especially if he still has the stock G head.

1st off, Welcome to the Board!!

2nd, if it's there, it's probably for a reason, so until you learn more about it (the car), I'd do as the previous owner suggests and keep it filled up. Water/Alky doesn't make power, but it can/will stave off detonation, so you don't want to find out if it's needed or not by chance. Once you have more info on boost, etc you may decide it's not needed, but at least that would be a well informed decision.
