Gee, it looks so easy when you look at all the pics in a five minute span

Now that you have R&D space, how about those tubular control arms we were talking about a while back...

As soon as my mini van is up and running and my vacation is over I will start on that. Have not had a real vacation in close to 3 years, so my gal and I are going for a week skiing and a week to visit family in southern calif.

Been insulating and sheeting my west wall. Finished it today (after photo was taken) and tomorrow will prime/paint it white.

^^Hey, I run DSP too! Of course I don't know if I'll be able to get away with that much longer as my new strut tower bar might throw me out of that class...

Side to side is okay. Triangled is not okay. Why, what's yours?

    Re: building of a dream

Side to side, but it requires modification on the strut towers because it incorperates camber plates. It's a REALLY nice peice...I've had it for a while, but never installed it becuase of the mods needed. I finally found a way to accomplish the mods without using a plasma cutter or torch.

    Re: building of a dream

I coulda swore the rules read that you could have a non triangulated strut bar, but that the strut towers themselves could not be modified. Maybe that was a different class. Oh well, it's on there now! LOL No putting back either!

    Re: building of a dream

Bought something special for the shop today.
Found them on craigslist. All four for $250.
Hydraulic dollies, makes it pretty easy to move dead cars into tight shop spaces.

There's a guy on ebay that sells them. An auction ends every day and they go for 78-102 + 60 shipping for a pair. I got a set last week.

Those are nice and very useful. My brother gave me a set of those for free fortunately. Didn't know they were so expensive.

    Re: building of a dream

I didn't know what they sold for until I went to buy a set. Seems as though $5-600 is average new retail for a set of 4. Here's that Ebay seller if anyone is interested.
