Im an idiot and like to lose parts. I need the piece that keeps the shock fron going up through the shock tower.

Doh! Sorry, forgot that. That store used to have fronts also, not now though I guess.
yeah I have a set from an 85 S/C. I can pull them Saturday when I drop the suspension out to use in my Rampage. That work?
Thanks for your guys' help, I ordered a new set of hats from Rock Auto. They sent 2 sets, 1 being complete and the other not. Same part number, but one was a different type of hat. Type A kit was complete, with the little bushing, and pressed in bolts to mount to the shock tower. Type B had no pressed in bolts, no nuts or washers to secure them, and no bushing. It had the hat and the retainer cup part though. After a frustrated email, they're sending me another complete kit and inspecting it before they ship it. Who needs the hat part? I got 4!

I had the same luck with NAPA. Had to order four through the local store so they could piece together two complete sets, and then found out their kit uses a roller bearing instead of the small bushing.
The roller bearing will not work in this application for either the Koni, or the "stock" front strut, as it shifts the rod down 3/4" or better, and the metal top-cap will then rub the top of the mount.
Luckily my old ones weren't that bad so I repainted them and put them back in.
I think I bought some from Advance, now that I think of it.
