Routing intercooler piping on a P-Body

well it is getting closer to the time to route the intercooler piping on my 88 CSX-T i was wondering if any one has some pics of their intercooler piping routing on their p- body. oh yea i almost forgot the intercooler i will be using is a precision turbo it is a cross flow intercooler with end tanks or separate sides of the intercooler. any pics or tips would be great!!! thanks

intercooler looks something like this just bigger dimensions:

Personally I like to keep the pipe going from the IC to the TB as straight and consistent in diameter as possible. Right now I have 1 very slight bend and no diameter variations running a stock IC horizontal in my air dam. Since the IC will almost always act as a source of pressure drop in any application, I feel it's best to have any flow impedences before the natural bottleneck at the IC, so the outflow is uninhibited.

Search for "cummins intercooler install" on google. There's a nice write up of one in a Pbody and will give you an idea on how to route the pipes.

Bottom of page 2 has a shot of the engine bay and intercooler piping. Sorry about the crimp bends. They are just temporary untill I find time to weld up the aluminum pipes.

Bottom of page 3 has some intercooler pictures.
