Lebaron GTC, GTS hood interchangeable?

Wondering if these hoods will swap. The turbo lebarons have plain hoods (no vents or bulges) and I remember the turbo 4door GTS has a vented hood. If not any other ideas to give the GTC that turbo look to the hood?

Uh, well, they are different body styles, how are your fabrication skills Why don't you pull you hood and take it to a shop that cuts louvers? When we were growing up here in SoCal, all the cool guys had them cut into the VW decklids to pull some heat out. Lots of shops around here did them but that was single thickness metal. Is it BlueBaron here that added a grill on each side of his side of his J Body hood?

Short answer, no. The GTS hoods are shorter and not curved as much where it meets the header. The vent's can be grafted in, mine came from an '87 New Yorker. You don't have to mount them flush like I did. There's more than one way to do just about anything.

Yeah. I was working on the car, but found the trans linkage was seized and wouldn't shift gears. So I left it and walked away, so as to not throw a wrench at some one or thing in frustration lol.

For what it's worth, the Z34 vents came with rain catching plastic trays that lead the water to the fender area. I installed them so they can be pulled out easy, and it's wide open to the engine compartment without them.

Whens the US debut going to be? Can't tell you how long I've been looking to see the car. On the topic of this thread, I've got the Z34 vents - haven't gotten a sacrificial hood yet to complete my idea-stealing project. Prolly should get the car back on the road by then. I think I have a few years till I catch up to how long it will take you to get yours back on the road tho
