The probel is that if we advertise "over there", then whomever posts will not only get thrown off, but the post would be deleted as well.... What a load of crap.

we'll just have to do it by pm then, those you know who might be interested and a sticky in the for sale section here would help out alot too, alot of people dont check the vendor threads.

i just seen this thread yesterday for the 1st time so its not like people arent interested anymore, we just werent aware that if we dont batch together it wont happen anymore.

it definitely needs to get the word around before its too late.

Problem with PMs over there is that they aren't private. Any mention of TM or TU and you will most likely get a warning/ban. Better to let things go, use the phone or email to get in touch with friends that aren't on this board frequently.

For example, send it to your local SDAC group mailing lists.

Re: The future of TU 3" swingvalves

You can talk to people about TU, but you have to use "Chris" and hopet hey know what you are talking about. If they make "Chris" a *dirty word*, then I suppose I can't talk to people either! LOL

Re: The future of TU 3" swingvalves

Well given the fact they ban words and don't let anyone PM each other about TM or vendors or people in general, I won't ever use that site again. I think it's sad it happens and no offense to those who still frequent there, but find it amazing that people still support that site at all. Besides that, there is also Boosted Mopar as well as Turbo-Mopar, so it's not like there aren't choices for people in the way of online collaboration.

Well, as we all know, people hate change... So, until it becomes overbearing, people will put up with a huge amount of BS. It's too bad though, as you've stated, there is an alternative, but Ricky over there knows this too and that's probably why he's such a d!ck about "contraband words", etc; he knows he's got an inferior product, but rather then fix it, he's trying to keep everyone there in a vacuum. One can only hope that as people become more educated, they "see the light".

Re: The future of TU 3" swingvalves

Well, let's say, if I were Chris the first resource I'd use is the customer base I have to inform about new products. I think from his database alone should be sufficient interest to get this thing moving. And if he only takes those who once in their life ordered 3" Downpipes..... Then again I haven't got a clue if he can get himself into trouble doing this.... But if I give my vendor my email address I suppose that one day he'll use it. ...

Can we get an updated count? Not sure why, but there should be at least 31 deposits. Overlordshadow is already on my list, who else wants to join him? JK OLS

Re: The future of TU 3" swingvalves

I wouldnt say the market for serious 8v mods is large enough on the other site to get mad about.

Many people peruse both sites and even people here will miss it no matter how big you make the font

If only 1 people prepay here, then whining about the websites wont get the rest of the orders filled. Some people are freaking out about the product disappearing yet they have not invested. If you want to help keep them, make a deposit before you worry about what other people are doing.

Safer to ask for E-mail than use the PM system over there.

I got two separate warnings while USING PM.
