    daytona Carbon Fiber Hood..VIS racing

So I started the Ball rolling on getting some Carbon Fiber Hoods made for the Daytonas..looking at 2nd gen, perferably Buldge hood.
They will be from VIS RACING SPORTS (http://www.visracing.com/) and we need 20 people intrested to get a new hood made.

I'm still waiting to hear back about a price, and if they need a down payment.
Anybody Intrested, if so how much you willing to spend?

Let us know how much when you hear back.

I am going to eventually make my own cowl induction g-body hood but if this will be cheaper, I might be interested in the meantime.

we are around 10 potential buyers so far...most want stock Bulged style hood.
If/ when we get to 15 potential buys I'll start a master list.

Still waiting on prices etc...VIS is very slow at email

Re: daytona Carbon Fiber Hood..VIS racing

The price for the hood would be $550. We need a deposit of half that amount
from all 20 + people before we begin production. Time frame is about 8-12
weeks, may take longer due to the current carbon fiber shortage.

This does not include s/h. S/H will be calculated at the time we are ready
    to collect the second half."

I think that kind of money, people are going to want to do a cowl induction hood style, not a regular buldge hood.

I agree I'd like to make the Buldge into a Cowl..thus Helping keep underhood temps down, and lightening...
I'm sure this can be done for the same price..but 20's alot of people to get to agree..

They are for "drag" daytona's and will not fit a standard car
