Our August meeting will be on Thursday Aug 18. It will be on Woodward Ave north of 14 Mile, on the west side of Woodward. We will try again for the same spot(s) we've used for the last 3-4 years, near the frozen yogurt stand on the corner. Spots there are limited but there is plenty of parking on the side streets for those arriving later. Starts at about 5pm, though I plan on being there about 4.

Thanks JT. Woodward was a good time! Saw a lot of friends out there, some stopped and visited, some for a while, others just for a bit.

Saw a stop light race between a Challenger HC and a newer Vette. Chevy had more than a car length on the Dodge in less than 100 feet, made the Challenger look sick. Challenger didn't lose traction either. Vette was just FAST.

On to news for this month's meeting. Back at BWW at 12 Mile and Mound in Warren. Starts about 5pm, goes till about 8.

Sorry but I can't make it this month, have another engagement.

For August, we move our meeting to Woodward Ave. And instead of being the second Thursday of the month, it is the third Thursday to coincide with the Woodward Dream Cruise.

So for Thursday August 17, we will meet on the west side of Woodward, north of 14 Mile Rd.

I'll be there about 4:30 pm or so, trying to hold a spot or two open for our guys. I will try for the same place we've been the last couple of years.
