What is the best logic module for an 87 GLHS?

I would like to improve the performance of my car but not at the expense of gas mileage.
Would you recomend a custom calibration or the Stage II Mopar performance computer?
The only other upgrade I plan on doing to the car is a complete 3" exhaust system.
If anyone has any real world experience with a similar set up I would be interested in how it performs.My goal is to be able to just touch the 13's on street tires.

I wouldn't recommend anything other than the Stage II unless you upgrade the 525 transaxle.

+1 to that, although you don't need anything more than a stage II computer and +20s to be well into the 13s with that car.
