    Power steering to manual

Is it possible to make a power steering rack to manual without putting in a manual rack? I had my belt disconnected on my previous S.C., but it was hard to steer with the valving. Is there any way to remove the valves? I just wanna get rid of my leaky power steering pump, also makes more room in an L body.

Sure, but thats not what makes it a manual, its the gear ratio. If you want, just loop the lines together after you remove the pump.

^ Hey, that sounds pretty good. When will you need the power rack by? This is my daily driver so I'll have to pull it on a weekend.

Good idea. No p.s. pump should free up a couple hp.
