cant find differential pin retainer part number

I have the A543 and I need the part number for the pin retainers. I been searching the forums and still cant find it. I am running out of time. IF anyone has the number or knows where to find it then let me know. It is a dealer part right?

I think I just found it. I heard there is only one for neons and it has to be modified to fit the A543.

Re: cant find differential pin retainer part number

According to my ATSG A604 Updates book, there are two possibilities:

For the A670/31TH (would include the Neon app), the P/N for the retainers alone is 4800059AA. A kit which includes the retainers, a new roll pin, a new end bearing and retainer, and shims to make it all work is 4798859AB.

For the A604/41TE, the P/N for the retainers alone is 4800058AA. The corresponding kit with the same pieces as listed above is 4798858AB.

The only difference between the two appears to be the length of the retainer "ears". From the pictures in the manual, the A670 ears appear longer than the A604 ears, which corresponds to how far the roll pin is offset from the ring gear (hard to explain without a pic).

Don't have a clue which type is the right one for an A543, though. You mentioned you think the Neon ones have to be modified, perhaps that means the A604 retainers are the ones you want...?

So would this be the same for a 525 or 555?

I realize this thread is over four years old, does anyone know if the kits are still available?
