    Re: Where do I begin?

I am really enjoying my baby even more. It's pulling nicely even in 5th. Yesterday I passed a pimped out Integra on the turnpike and after pulling in front of him he tried to pass me up but he never got within a car length.
Watching the boost gauge now I can see it is holding the pressure where as before it would spike and then come down, which I thought was normal. Guess that shows how experienced I am with these cars...

    Re: Where do I begin?

    Another update:

Just got back from Philly where Brian performed the following:
Installed an OBX into a new 568 w/ 3.77 gear
Installed Walbro 255 HP fuel pump and a new sending unit
Installed FMIC w/ 2.5" aluminum piping
    Installed vacuum block

Car is a little more controlled at launch. Wheels grab and GO.
Fooled around with a 90s Mustang on the way home but there were way too many troopers out south of Exit 8 so it was tempered.

Will be calling Mike Radowski (http://www.maximumpsi.com) and setting up another dyno run to see how much she's improved.

    Thanks again Brian...

Looks good Moe. I like the long hard pipe, less connections than most setups.

Looks real good Moe! It's all coming together nicely. You won't realize how much better your tranny is until you launch it at the track with some slicks. Brian's work is second to none! One recommendation....at the first chance you get you should switch to Redline MTL tranny fluid. My tranny didn't like mobile1 at all. Shifting started to get real notchy, I switched to redline and now it's like butter.

Hmmm, I'll keep an eye on it. Do I need to break this thing in somehow?
    It is a new unit?

Did Brian put a drain plug in yours? Should be on the bottom with a #6 allen key. Is your shifting getting notchy?

No good Carroll. I totally forgot to request this and he didn't think I wanted it since the tranny is new.

The only notchiness I feel so far is going from 1st-2nd. All the other gears go in ok. Not as smooth as my old trans but not too bad either.

BTW, I'm heading down to MaximumPSI (http://www.maximumpsi.com) on Friday to get her back on the dyno...

    Re: Where do I begin?

My favorite tranny fluid for -68 is castrol gtx...Shifts awesome. Getting the fluid out without a drain plug is a pain, but you can take an axle out and jack it up real high.

I think I'm just going to have Brian drill out a hole and tap it for a plug or someone local...
